Let Tree Trimming Experts Evaluate Your Property and Identify Dangerous Tree Limbs

Not all tree limbs can be predicted to snap during a storm with high winds. Some branches simply get blown back and forth by increased pressure and you find the downed tree limbs scattered around your property. The reality is that branches break off for a variety of reasons. To your eye, the trees look healthy but only a professional can see what’s really going on with a tree. Diseases and insects can no doubt cause havoc to a tree’s health. Quick attention by a tree trimming service like Clear My Land will take care of the matter and hopefully spare the health of the trees on your property in Harris County. The professionals can confirm whether some or many limbs on your property are in danger of breaking and suggest a course of action to fix the situation.

Professional Tree Trimming Services Can Help Broken Limbs and Potential Damage

Healthy trees on your property not only provide beautiful aesthetics, wonderful curb appeal and even shade from the bright sun, but a healthy tree lessens the chance of a broken tree limb during windy storms. That’s why it’s important to trim branches regularly. Trimming stimulates new growth and helps the tree maintain balance. A regular pruning gives a professional a good indication as to the health of the tree. If a branch is infected with a disease, the expert will quickly remove it and other diseased parts of the tree before it spreads to the entire tree.

Continuous broken and fallen branches is a sign that something may be wrong with the tree’s health. Sometimes sadly, despite efforts of the professional landscaping service, removing an overwhelmingly diseased tree is the only option.

Why Do Some Trees Fall Down Unexpectedly And Without Warning?

Every now and then you see a news report showing a humongous tree that completely toppled over onto its side with giant roots exposed for all to see in wonder. In most cases, the cause is actually those roots that you now see. A tree’s roots not only absorb water and nutrients from the soil but the roots act as the tree’s anchor. So when you see an uprooted tree, the cause was not 100% from the high winds from the storm. Most likely the tree was the victim of root rot.

Trimming Trees Must Be Done The Right Way So The Tree Benefits

Besides removing unhealthy or unsightly branches and limbs, there are other benefits of tree trimming. However, there are right ways of trimming trees and wrong ways of trimming. Incorrect trimming can damage a tree and even shorten the tree’s life.

Tree trimming should only be for the removal of dead branches to improve the look of the tree and for safety. Trimming reduces the chance for a dead branch to fall unexpectedly and harm a person or damage property. Trees are also trimmed to increase sunlight and improve the flow of air. A first goal of tree trimming would be to remove weak, dead, or diseased branches. It is also a common form of tree trimming maintenance to remove lower branches to provide clearance for pedestrians or vehicles. A properly trimmed young tree will require less corrective pruning as it matures.

Clear My Land can visit your property and provide a complete evaluation of the landscape. A plan will be created for tree trimming including limbs that are currently a property hazard.

Some information about Jersey Village, TX

Jersey Village is a city in west-central Harris County, Texas, United States, located at U.S. Highway 290, Farm to Market Road 529, and the Southern Pacific Railroad. The city is located in the Houston–Sugar Land–Baytown metropolitan area. The population was 7,620 at the 2010 census.

The 1936 Harris County highway map indicated several residences in the area. Clark W. Henry owned 1,236 acres (5.00 km2) of land on which he operated F&M Dairy and raised Jersey cattle. Henry discontinued his dairy when his health declined, and he gave the land up so a residential community could be built in 1953. Henry and LeRoy Kennedy, members of the Garden Oaks Baptist Church, began developing the community in February 1954. At first the city had 5 miles (8 km) of streets and drainage, gas, sewage, and water services. Several houses were established along Jersey Drive. The first family moved to the subdivision in late October 1954. The community developed a school, a park, and an 18-hole golf course. Jersey Village incorporated on April 16, 1956, with all 58 votes in favor of incorporation and a volunteer police force. Because of the incorporation, Houston did not incorporate Jersey Village’s territory into its city limits.

In 1961 Jersey Village had 493 residents. On July 6, 1972, Leonard Rauch gave Jersey Village a city hall building; as of 2008 the building is used for the fire department and public works departments. In 1977 the city passed a bond issue, leading it to construct a new city hall, a city garage, a park pavilion, and an expansion of the fire department building. In 1980 the city had 966 residents. In 1982 this figure increased to 4,084. In August 1986 officials announced that the city passed a home rule charter with a passing vote of 306-36. Under a home rule charter Jersey Village gained more taxation and governing powers than it had as a general law city. In 1988 the population increased to 5,143. In 1990 Jersey Village had 4,938 residents.
