Tree Lovers Learn How Expert Tree Cutting in Westfield, TX May Actually Save A Diseased Tree

For many people, trees are more than just landscaping on a property. Trees can actually be part of a family’s memories or history. This is why it’s often very difficult for property owners to seek help for a dying tree on their grounds. The property owners are afraid that a tree service will immediately grab a chain saw and cut the tree down, bit by bit.

Perhaps the big old tree on your property was where you adventurously climbed as a child. Maybe there was a tire swing hanging from the highest branch on the tree. One thing needs to be made clear; the tree that has been a staple all of your life may now be a danger to people, pets, and property at your location. A dying tree will only continue to lose branches and heavy limbs as the entire tree becomes riddled with disease.

The Sooner a Diseased Tree is Examined By A Professional, The Better The Chance Of Surviving

While a property owner is fighting the need to have a special tree removed, precious time is being wasted to try and save the tree. From the outside, you may think the tree will continue to live but in actuality, the health of the tree is in jeopardy. Rather than wait any longer, call in a professional tree cutting service to evaluate the tree. The pruning of a few branches will allow a professional to detect possible tree disease. If a branch is infected, it can be quickly removed before it spreads to the entire tree. It would be great news to the homeowner if all the tree needs is a few diseased limbs to be removed. By not allowing the disease to spread any further, the remaining part of the tree will prosper and live for more years to come.

What to Do if a Tree is Not Able to Be Saved?

If the sad reality is that a tree on your property is deemed dead, a professional will remove the tree safely and effectively. In other words, leaving a dead tree on the property is dangerous to all occupants and property. It is not suggested that you remove the tree as a do-it-yourself project. The tree is already diseased and as you begin to remove limbs, the balance of the tree will be in jeopardy. Invest in a professional tree cutting service to handle tree removal.

How to Select a Qualified and Insured Tree Trimming Service in Harris County?

Although time is of the essence when you are dealing with a dead tree, you must not just pick the first tree cutting service you find in Westfield, TX. Asking family, friends, and neighbors for a recommendation and with a little online research, you will gather a list of top tree removal companies in your area.

Carefully peruse each tree cutting company’s website to see what services are offered. Also, read customer reviews, ratings, and testimonials. It’s always a good idea to select three companies and get an estimate from each. Local professionals in your area like Clear My Land are happy to visit your property for a free consultation. Remember, the company with the lowest estimate is not always the best choice. Select a company that will provide you with outstanding service and satisfaction guaranteed like Clear My Land.

Is Stump Removal Part Of The Tree Removal Process?

Sometimes when the idea of getting a favorite tree removed from a residential or commercial property is emotional, you will forget to ask pertinent questions to the tree cutting service you hire. Here’s an important fact. Not all tree trimming companies consider removing the stump as part of the tree removal process. Unless you intentionally want the stump to remain in place, you should be sure your signed tree removal estimate includes the removal of the stump.

Clear My Land not only removes the tree and the stump, but also perform stump grinding. That means that the ground where the tree was removed will be as flat as possible without part of the stump remaining as a tripping hazard. In fact, Clear My Land will promptly arrive at your location fully equipped with the most powerful tools to remove the tree and stump.

Some information about Westfield, TX

Westfield is an unincorporated community in Harris County, Texas, United States located along Interstate 45 and the Union Pacific Railroad nineteen miles (30 km) north of Downtown Houston.

In 1846 Herman Tautenhahn, a German immigrant, built a general store near Cypress Station. By 1876 Westfield was established; the community was named after Gadi F. West, a man who owned a field along the International–Great Northern Railroad. In 1873 a post office opened. Tautenhahn moved his store closer to the rail line. Westfield’s economy consisted of loading goods such as cattle, cotton, hides, and lumber from local warehouses and cattle pens onto freight cars. The community shipped a tonnage of goods equalling that shipped by nearby Spring. By 1890 Westfield had 200 people, of which most were Anglo-American and German-American. The community included several sorghum manufacturers, three churches, three combination gristmill and cotton gins, one steam sawmill, and one school. Some residents manufactured barrels, farm implements, and furniture. In 1905 Westfield became an overflow point for employees from the nearby Humble oil field. Between 1925 and 1930 the population increased from 50 to 450. During the Great Depression the population decreased to 50. During World War II 200 residents and 10 businesses were in the community. The population decreased to 125 after the end of the war. By the 1950s Farm to Market Road 1960 was constructed. In 1962 the store established by Tautenhahn, renamed Big T Shopping Center, moved to the intersection of F.M. 1960 and Interstate 45. The population stayed at the same level from the post-war years until the mid-1960s, when it increased to 275. From 1966 to 1990 the population remained at 275 and the area had a maximum of 32 businesses. The area post office closed in 1972. The state of Texas did not find population figures for the year 2000.
